The opening of the Municipal Schools has been postponed as previously announced. egard to the Shanghai Ameri-School, Miss Beulah N. Smith, gistrar, yesterday issued the following statement: Since the families with children of school age have been advised by the U.S. Consulate-General evacuate from Shanghai for the time being, and since women (which includes many of the teachers in the school) are urged not to return until further notice, and since upcountry parents are urged not to send their children to Shanghai yet, the opening date of the Shanghai American School has been deferred until further notice.
