Isrel Mordivid, Michel Sambur, and David Priver, all Russians, were released on $300 bail in the Special District Court on, August 12 by Judge Hyui after charges of being members of a criminal gang and pocket-picking had been made against them by the police.
'A conductor of the China General Omnibus Ca. said that on August 11 the three attempted to Pocket in Avenue Edward VI They attacked him, he said, when he accused them of attempted robbery.
The three men denied the offence and said that they had good jobs and so had no desire to pick pockets. Two of them claimed to have been arrested without reason.
