Sm—Having read the article entitled "Labour Service Parades Be fore Pahrer" in your to-day's Issue I wish merely to state the fact that all what is said about the Home Ofice, the police, the diplomatic service, ete. In Russia ig nothing but the truth.
Having only. recently been in Viadivostock and Petropaviovsk on Kamtchatka I was struck wilh the truth of the above statement, Whilst in Viadivostock our ship. was approached by a motorboat carrying the Customs officials. these oMcials were mounting the ship's gangway I actually noticed that all of them were Jews—there were some five or six. The driver of the motor-bent, however, anda sailor were Russian, Exaclly similar case I noticed in Petropaviovsk—thore that drive. the motor-boats, those that work the cargo. and all other mean labourers Gallina. pillable, " bezgarly appearance) are mostly Russians, Whilst the overseers and other representatives of important posts are Invariably the Jews.
