All arrangements have been com pleted to pay the December coupon of the Hukuang Loan within the resent month out of Customs funds.
Note—This coupon was due on December 15, but was not then met, the excuse being shortage of funds, This occurred after an announce: ment had been made in London by the Chinese Government giving an assurance that payment would be resumed on the German coupon well as the other issues,
