A Sunday Treat

To the Editor of the onrH-CurwA Dalny News"

Sm—It is to be hoped that the Shanghai public, both Chinese and foreign will strongly support by their presence, the Concert that is being given on Sunday at the Nanking Theatre, at 515 p.m.

The management of the Nanking Theatre is generously donating the theatre and its services entirely free of charge, The Shanghai Municipal Council is giving the Municipal Orchestra, the soloists are giving their services and the Press is donating advertising space.

Thus there will be no expenses and the whole of the proceeds will be given the Committee for the Coordination of Evacuating and assisting refugees.

This cause does not need emphasising as we see these refugees all around us and know what terrible hardship they have to suffer.

Tickets can be purchased at the Nanking Theatre $1.50, $100 and 60 cts. and this should enable those who have not yet subscribed to this fund te do their part.

And aside from the worthy object the Orchestra can be relied on to give one of the best concerts of iis career
