Forthcoming War

He suggested, however, that if any~ one was doubtful as to the truth of the prophecies for September, that he analyse press reports concerning Soviet Russi. and ask himself if that country will participate "in the forthcoming world war, which has begun with the Talian Abyssinian conflict." For greater details concerning contemporary events, he suggested the reading of Luke XXI, Mark XIII, Matthew XXIV, and Revelations XIV.

With regard to a question as to how the various dates were fixed with such apparent accuracy, he said that this vas rather difficult to explain shortly non-technical Language. In the Bible, for instance, the only indications were "time and times and half! time," "42 months," or "1260. days. When one compared these indications when they pertained to the same event, "1260 days" was found to be the same as "time, times and half time"; the latter then could be translated as "time, two times, and half time, or three anda half time."
