Miss Esme Barton returned Tuesday from Peitaiho, having spent a pleasant summer holiday as the guest of Mrs. P. G. Caleina. Before compleling her visit in the Orient she hopes to take a trip up the Yangtze Gorges. In the meanwhile she is busy greeting her friends and ex changing vacation news.
Wedding Anniversary 'With the Alumni Association of the University of Shanghai as host Mr. and Mrs. E, Kelhofer will celebrate their thirtieth wedding cor sary, this evening with a dinner at the Bankers' Club. Mr. Kelhofer, the business manager for the University, has been with that institution for nearly 27 years. He met his bride of thirty years ago in Canada and they were married at "The Heavenly Home," then a missionary home on North' Szechuan Road, Mr, Perey Chu is in charge of arrangements for toonight's affair.
