'The State' Department has now released, at the request of the Chinese Legation here, the munitions consigned to the Chinese Nationalist Government, It may be recalled that on August 16 the State Department declined to accede to the request of the Clu Pont de Nemours power interests to release a consignment of muni yus for the Chinese Nationalist Government. Tt was then stated that the State Department would not release the munitions until the Chinese Legation here had intimate ed that the Nationalist Government desired the shipment to be cleared, —Reuter.
