About 100 employees and 50 ex-employees of French Tramways held a meeting on September 3 in the Workers' Union in Nantao, when the following resolutions were dis cussed and passed:—
That the 40 dismissed workers should be reinstated as an alternative that the usual wages be issued to them monthly.
That a reply should be given within three days.
3. That general meeting should be called on September 7 to di cuss a proposal for a second strike in ease these demands be rejected.
