With reference to the advertisement of 12th and 13th inst. under above heading in this Paper in which consignees of cargo were notified that a case of General Average has been declared in connection with above vessel at Hongkong and, furthermore, that consignees of cargo—not already landed at Hongkong before the vessel sustained damages by typhoon—will be required to sign a General Average Bond before delivery of their cargo can be effected.
It has now been decided that a cash deposit of 3% on the market value of the goods concerned is to be collected before documents can be countersigned.
