Five leuding prouchers of the Hitow no-machi, a religious sect, - whose membership is variously estimated be ween 300,000 and 1,000,000, were arrested by the police authorities today on charges of "misleading the public." Jukicht Akiyoshi Is being Kept behind bars in the Kagoshima police station while the remaining four are being examined.
