Trade is still about normal, and there is not very much improvement, though some industries continue to be fairly busy. No further recon structions of big concerns have taken place as yet, but some are inevitable. Unemployment is still little better. 'The Ministry of Labour announces that the number' of registered unemployed on December 7 was 1,191,000; this was 4,275 fewer than "in the previous week, and 21,188 fewer than a year ago.
