A big increase in the Soviet Union's output of steel and rolled metal was shown in statistics published to-day.
The output of steel this year /amounted to 15,905,000 tons, represent fan increase of 304 per cent. com-ared with 1935.
Rolled metal produced totalled 12,115,000 tons, an increase of 32 per cent. over the figure for last year.
