About two hundred and tify Specials enjoyed ^the hospitality of Major Fabre, Chief of the French Police, on the occasion. Mayor Fabre paid a tribute to Mr. Dent and to the work he had done in the Specials and. announced that Mr. Eric Davis would be Chief Commissioner during Mr. Dent's absence. Mr. Dent and Mr. Davis replied suitably.
