With the aid of bourgeois democratic government," the declaration adds, "the Fascist malefactors have plunged one fourth of humanity into war."
The message then assures that the masses in the capitalistic countries are arousing from their defeats and are coming out of the "passivity imposed by the Socialists and the Democrats...the Chinese are val-hantly defending their country against the invasion of the Japanese Fascist military clique, while by strong action of the Popular Front, the French people have enlarged the proletarian rights and economic conquests of the workers and crushed the repeated Fascist attacks."
"The Popular Front movement,"
he declaration continues, "is also gaining ground in other capitalistic countries, even where the Fascist terror is predominant."
The note proclaims that the defence of China and Spain is equivalent to the defence of world peace, and concludes with the following cry:
"Hurrah for the Popular Front fighting against Fascism and War. Down with Capitalism. Hurrah fo the world proletarian Revolution!"
