Rising Prices

As an example of how prices are rising, the Chinese Government Purchasing Commission having placed an order for 45,000 tons of stool rails has saved over £1 por ton in costs and freight rates compared with what would have to pay if placing the order to-do This sort of thing seems to apply everywhere. A lady (not unknown China) whose daughter is married next month tells me that the trousseau will cost 10 to 15 per cent. more than that of an elder daughter married a year ago.
