No deaths were recorded by the Traffic Department of the French Police during June. A total of 271 accidents were recorded, 33 people being sent to hospital as a result. A further 63 were given treatment at hospitals and then released, while one case was given first aid treatment in a police station.
These figures compare favourably with May's figure of 307 accidents, with two fatalities, and the figure of 244 accidents and one fatality in the month of; June. 1936.
