Tenour of Chinese Reply Tokyo, July 21.
Leading vernacular papers here this morning commenting editorially jupon the recent National Governmmient's reply to the Japanese proposal in regards to extrality problems express disappointment at the contents of, the Chinese counter thave replies made. to Great which ure almost similar:
Britain, the United States, and France.
Pointing out that the Chinese' reply does not touch upon such 'Sino-Japanese questions as the right lof mixed residence, the railway eased territory, and' Japanese concessions in China, the papers assert that the National Government has ignored all Japanese demands which were made in consideration of her special interests in China, The Fapers, however, assert that by the presentation of its counter-proposals to the Japanese Government the Nanking Government has formally agreed to enter into negotiations vith Japan with regard to the treaty' revision problem.—Rengo.
