Visit to Takow

One is the wild monkeys in the woods there, and the other is the very interesting 10-hours_ train journey back to Tathokoo. For the rest, 1 steyed at a very comfortable Japanese hotel, the amazing clean-lines of which entirely compensated for the lack of spring in my bed on the floor.

After the formalities with doctor and customs officers had been accomplished we steamed forther up the harbour and Iwas astonished at the fine array of shipping there. There were some really mammoth ners and many huge cargo boats, the City of Delhi being the only one flying a British flag.
