Take an aluminium article, such as an old spoon, fish slice, thermos top, ete., and place in a bow! with spoonful or so of soda. Pour water over and immerse the silver requiring cleaning so as to touch the aluminium at some point. When removed and polished with a napkin of fine linen is French. soft cloth or leather magic. will be found to have been at work, ours of cleaning drudgery saved with no risk of damaging the most valuable silver—M.
