There was a much better feeling 9n the local share market yesterday. In the rubber section, buyers were more in evidence, and rates were firm generally towards the close o* {he day's trading. Interest in the general market was spread over a wider range of stocks. Metal Industries of China, Wheelocks, Shanghai Lands and Ewos were in demand at rates which were decidedly firmer. The Externdl and Railway Bond market was very firm, with a good demand, and little offering from London.
