ys in an editorial to-day that it is one more step towards the thin veiled annexation of two more Chinese provinces.
Japan's conquest of Manchuria, the newspaper continues, has stimulated, and not sed, her ambitions.
China must yield or put up a hopeless fight for which she is all too unprepared, "And the world looks on," the Daily Herald concludes.—
