Guerillas Enticed to Death By Popular Records Tokyo, Mar. 6.
Chinese guerilla units near Pukow are being lured to their death by Japanese phonographs, Japanese reports said here to-day. 2 Chinese guerilla fighters are unable to resist the sweet strains of the "Peanut Vendor" and "Abdul the Bul-bul Amir," and other popular songs, the report said.
When Japanese phonographs send these tunes twinkling across the countryside, the Chinese guerilla "üghters abandon all caution and rush toward the music—only to be met by roaring Japanese machineguns, the reports alleged.
The reports said that a few of the newer jazz pieces also had proved "excellent attractions."—United Press.
