Official Expresses Fears at Berlin Banquet Berlin, Mar. 7.
Acute anxiety over German trade in the Far East was revealed in the speech made at the Hamburg-Bremen Far Eastern Association annual banquet here this week-end.
Herr Helfferich, who is a Government official, said:
"The future of German business houses fills u5 with anxiety. We are also concerned for our trade with Japan. We are friends of both countries, therc: ore we only desire the restoration of peace in the Far East."- Reuter.
