commercial air line joining China with Russia is under consideration by the Chinese Government.
The exact route has not yet been decided, but it will probably include Urumchi. Chungking, the new capital of China, will be the southern terminus.
After a survey flight, the Chinese authorities hope that the service will begin operating early in the summer.
It will provide a direct link for passengers and mail between China and Europe via the Trans-Siberian Railway, with which it will be linked.—Reuter.
