To Those Who Suffer from Gravel

Buffon, who suffered from Gravel, Wrote to his son in 1784, as follows; "I drink nothing but Contrexeville Water."

To mention Gravel is to talk of Contrexeville!

No matter what the chemistry of the Gravel (une acid, oxalic, phos-photic, or combined) and no matter the anatomical or clinical location of the affection (sandy sediment, gravel, calculus—be it renal, pelvic, uretic or vesical—with vesica] pain (frequent in oxalivri cases), simple lumbar pains or definite nephritic colic.

The cure has the effect of provoke ing the mechanical expulsion of sand or gravel already: formed in the urinary passages, and, furthermore, it reduces the sensibility of the passages and so the spasm which is secondary to it and, on this account, will bring about less frequent and less painful nephritíe colic.

A pamphlet dealing with the properties of Contrexeville Waters will be sent, on application, by Messrs. Egal Cie, 709 Avenue Joffre, Telephone 73013 or 874 Bubbling Well Road, Telephone 83923,—Anyr,
