The latest vessel is said to be the Bramhill, which is said to have been attacked near Gijon.
The British destroyer Fearless has been sent to investigate.
This is the seventeenth: ship to be attacked off Spain since August 1.
Meanwhile, the African Trader, which was bombed and damaged in Gijon harbour on Friday, has arrived at Lapallice and has been beached for repairs, The captain stated that the vessel was not bombed intentionally but that the damage had resulted from the general bombing of the port.—Reuter,
