Roehampton Selected

The 4th race is also for all ponies and at 9 furlongs. Another small field may be seen out. If Roehampton should start he may win; if absent, the race lies between Mou Tan Hua and Sir Charles with Magic Eve to place.

The 5th is at nine furlongs and for 2nd class ponies, and should give Felixstowe his first win this season, the dangers being Wet Morn, and Cottonlight.

The 6th race, at 1% mile for 3rd class ponies may see Blue Peter, Scarlet Morn, and the Cosmopolitan fighting out the finish, with Blue Peter getting the judges' verdict as the winner. The 7th race at seven furlongs for 2nd class ponies may see a useful lot at the distance weigh out, resulting in French Leave being the winner, with Sootylight, and Flying High, both likely to place.

The 8th race at 1% mile for 3rd class ponies may see a good-size field weigh out, including Artimid, Bengal Lancer, Downside, Duke of Cornwall, Lal Bagh, Sir Charles, Welfenfels, and White Scamp. The winner may turn up in Lal Bagh, but cne that should run well is Sir Charles.
