Prague, Apr. 24. HE Chairman of the National Council, hitherto an entirely Czech organization, has been asked by President Eduard Benes to collaborate with him for the pacification of minorities in Czechoslovakia.
Dr. Sebekovsky, Chief of the Sudeten German Party, speaking at the party's annual rally at Karlsbad, referred to Czech penetration into German districts during, the past twenty years, Narrow-minded nationalism by Czechs, he said, could only lead to war. A friendly understanding between Sudeten Germans and Czechs, he added, was impossible so long as Czechs retained their traditional national imperialism.—Reuter.
