It was reported to-day that Great Britain and Ireland showed the veritas decrease in shipping tonnage throughout. the world: in 1901. Their shave was. 20,000,000 tent out of 70,000,000.
The principal features of last year were that there were 1,000,- 000 tons decrease in steam tenn the world, an increase of 601, in motor termage, and a decided decrease in sailing. vessels which fare at present only one-third. of the figure for 1914.
