The Club just managed to win their First Division encounter played on the Race Course by two goals to one. At no time did the play reach a very high standard, the wind being largely responsible. Lusitano wasted many chances by trying to work the ball into the goal-area. Swettenham played a sound game for the Club, and it was largely - a result of his fine work that victory was secured. The teams lined up as under—
Cruse LUSITANO., Souza; Victal, D'Aquino; F. Noodt, V. Souza, Silva. Lopes, J. Rozario, A. Costa, L. Rozario, and Fonseca.
SFC. Swettenham, G. Greenberg, Jensen; Herman, Jack, M. Greenberg Lipovsky, Kimber, Solovieff, Gray and 1. Greenberg.
