The audience at the weekly memorial meeting at Nationa Government Headquarters to-day. were treated to agreeable. surprise as General Chi-sen, former Chairman of the Kwangting. Provincial Government who has been in retirement. for neatly two years, unexpectedly, attended the memorial service, "Ho was cordially welcomed by President Chiang Kai-shek who had a moat friendly chat with the former lender: of the Kuangtung-Kuangsi military, General Li loft for Shanghai tom night to meet the Canton Teaders who are expected to arrive there—Kuo Min.
