encourage others io help this vei deserving enterprise.

Residents—both Chinese and foreign—owe & deep debt of gratitude to the troops guarding us and, with the winter rapidly approaching, 1 feel that everyone should do all they possibly can to help keep this very excellent end deserving service running, It is the least one can do in recognition of the services rendered by the troops and by the members of the Patrol.
