Municipal Orchestra and Band

The programme for the Seventeenth Sunday Symphony Concert, to be heid at the Lyceum Theatre on Sunday at 5.15 p.m. under the leadership of the Deputy Conductor Prof. A. Foa, will be entirely posed of music for small orchestra.

The first item of the programme will be Mozart's Kleine Nachtmusik" for strings only. It is one of the most popular and beautiful compositions of this author.

The Rieti concerto for flute, clarinet, French horn and bassoon, with accompaniment of strings, two trumpets and tim pany, which will follow, is in great contrast to the former, being written in a very modern style. Here all the soloists will have opportunities of displaying their abilities as the work is written n a virtuoso manner.

The second part of the programme will be entirely taken by Beethoven's Second Symphony in "D" major. This Symphony has not been heard at these concerts for quite a long period of time and should prove an interesting number for music lovers.
