French Writer's Forecast

Paris, Sept. 1.

Herr Hitler's "Inner Cabinet Coun: cj" will meet tomorrow evening, when Herr Hitler will discuss the declaration he is to make on Czechoslovakia at the Nuremberg Congress, writes Mme. Tabouis, the frequently well-informed Diplomatic Correspondent of the Paris newspaper "L'Oeuvre."

"Mme. Tabouis forecasts that Herr Hitler will ask for complete autonomy for the Sudetens, a general denunciation of all Czechoslovakia's alliances, the signature of a non-aggression pact between Germany and Czechoslovakia, similar to that between Germany and Poland, and a customs union between the two countries.

The writer concludes by declaring that in spite of the somewhat gloomy picture this forecast of Herr Hitler's demands presents the outlook is more cheerful.

She adds that she has information that yesterday's interview between Lord Runciman and Herr Ernst Kundt "passed off well and the Sudetens accepted the first part of the British plan."—Reuter, The programme comprises seven points:—

1. National groups will be given in administration; specified proportions their share in the

Nationals will be employed as far as possible in government in their Own districts, with the exception of defence organizations; 4 Number of Czech police in the non-Quech districts wil be gradually re-luced; modified; zi—ki 5 Law relating to languages will

6. Loan will be floated for public Works, part of which will be used to modernize industrial undertakings in the Sudeten region; 7. Each district will enjoy cultural autonomy.

"Phe programme as outlined above was elaborated between Dr. Milan Hodza, the Czech Premier, and Dr. Benes., An inner political meeting of the Cabinet, held yesterday afternoon, agreed to the details of the proposals, after they had been explained by Dr. Hodza. The Cabinet members also fully approved Dr. Hodza's report on the general situation.

These developments, together with conversations held yesterday by the Runciman Mission, and the meeting betwagn Dr. Benes and Herr Kundt, are all considered to point in the same direction.
