Kuling, Feb. 8.
We have just received several packets of the "North-China Daily News" which are dated early Novem: ber, and have thus taken three months to reach us, but at the same time, we have received one or two papers which have only taken eight days en route. The latter seems to be the quickest mail delivery for some time from Shanghai. We are glad to get them, however whether delayed or not.
Most important letters from here, are now sent by air mail vid Hankow to Hongkong. and thence shipped to Shanghai, which seems the safest route, but a little expensive.
Text read from the printed page and cleaned; old type leaves the occasional error.
