Following the news that there is a distinct possibility that, work' on the giant Cunarder "534" will be resumed before Christmas, it is now stated that, as a result of the fehango in the money' situation and the low rate of interest prevailing the money market, the Duilding of sister ship to the mammoth liner is being seriously considered.
Work on the giant Cunarder was stopped some months ago owing to depression in "the shipping. trade, but yesterday Mr." Willia wood, President of the Engineering and Shipping Federation, declared that, after many conversations relating to the financial aspect of the project, resumption of work on the new liner was likely to take place at an early date—Reuter.
