U.S. ANTI-FASCIST PROPAGANDA

White House Advisers Are Divided on Best Method Washington, Feb. 27.

President Roosevelt's advisers have split into two groups over methods to be used to counteract Fascist radio propaganda in South American countries.

The first group, headed by the Přes-dent's son James, believes that existing commercial—broadcasting stations should institute a regular programme exclusively for South America, and are opposed to the proposed construction of a Government station for this purpose.

The second group, which includes representatives from the Army, Navy and State Department, declare that a Government station would be useful for national defence and therefore, advocate the immediate creation of such a station.

This will be an important question io be examined by the Government curing the present session of Congress.—Havas.
