Regal Styles

Fashions emanating from both Europe and America this winter will reflect the regal, gorgeous style. The royal visit to Paris has caused a stir throughout the fashion world and designers, are eager to reveal the glories which the creations of Hartnell, who designed the Queen's gowns, and Worth who designed those of Madame Lebrun, have inspired.

The low shoulder effect will be much seen, and as usual, lingerie will follow the lead of the gowns. In Shanghai we are to have the new low-shouldered nightgown, and petticoats will be made on lines suitable for the gowns.

ELIZABETH, Queen of England, wore gowns designed by HARTNELL of London. Mme LEBRUN, wife of President Lebrun, received in gowns created by WORTH of Paris.

"Hands Across the Channel" is the major theme that has influenced the foremost designers of the world.
