Entire Cabinet Expected to Resign with Premier Geneva, Ma IGOROUS protest against the methods employed against Jews in Austria, "which are more brutal than those employed against Jews in Germany," is contained in a communique issued to the press to-day by the World Jewish Congre:
According to well-informed circles, the communique states, there have been no less than 1.700 suicides in Vienna since the anschluss between Austria and Germany.
Most of these tragedies have involved Jews, although many Aryans, whose political past has made their future hopeless, have also ended their own lives.
Doctors in Vienna, it is stated, are being besieged by applications for verona] and similar narcotics.
The number of arrests is very considerable.
During the last four days, the communique adds, there have been a average of 140 burials daily in Jewish cemeteries against a normal average of four.—Reuter.
