Astor Trio Lauded

The new programme of the Astor Trio at the Casanova Ballroom, which was presented on Friday night, reveals the artistes in two number: entirely new to Shanghai and which are stated to be meeting with the approval of guests. As acrobatic dancers the two men and the comely irl comprising the trio, are looked upon as foremost in the city. Some ai their numbers are not only highly entertaining but most difüicuit; numbers in which a slight error or miscalculation might result in serious injury for one or mere of the trio. Dance music at the Casanova is furnished by Miss Cora's Serenaders. Miss Cora sings old and new songs in eight languages, in addition to directing the orchestra and playing {e piano and accordion.
