Canton, Nov. 2. Chinese casualties in Ky province were estimated at slain and 35,000 wounded in reports received here today.
The Chinese 151st Division suffered heavy losses and has only a few hundred men left for active service, the reports said. Ranks of the 158th Division and Independent 20th Brigade likewise were depleted by Japanese attacks, the reports claimed, The 20th Brigade was said to have only about 100 survivors.—Domel, Japanese Move West Canton, Nov. 2.
