Shanghai, Nov. 2.
The death took place at the General Hospital on October 31 of Mr. Herbert Hutchinson, aged 66 years, after short illness.
The deceased a resident of this city for the past nine and a half years, was connected with the cotton spinning and manufacturing department of the China Printing & Finis ing Ca., Ltd, at their Pootung branch. Following a very brief illness he passed away early on October 31 at the Shanghai General Hospital at the age of sixty-six years.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mary Cordelia Hutchinson, and' eight children, Two daughters, Mrs. Edith North and Mrs. Florence Taylor, reside in Shanghai, and another daughter, Mfrs. Hilda Thomas, is at present en route from Shanghai to, England. Mr. Hutchinson's five sons, William, Stanley, Harold, John and Herbert, are all' living in England. Surviving him also are three sisters, Mrs. Emily Lyons and the Misses Edith and Elizabeth Hutchinson, and brother, Daniel, all in England.
