To the Editor of the "Nonru-Cuma Dany News"
'Su—On October 31, on the North 'Szechuen Road near bridge, at 225 pin, Bus No.2 stopped before a crowd of people numbering not Less than 15 persons. After one lady and my child had' stepped inside, the conductor closed the door rudely just before me and everybody els the bus started off—so only a chance to step in, Imagine my terror, as T, a woman not young, ran after the bus as far the Peking Road stop. My child not used to walk alone on the streets, had no money with her, and dees not know the town. Besides, hud this conductor any right to separate child and mother? He saw me running like mad after the bus, My child was crying, but he did not i00 stop till Peking Road.
When my child met me on Peking Read the other lady was asking me sbout her boy, because ho was left on the Bridge stop, not having had ime to step into the bus after his mother.
T should like those it concerns to make enquiries about the conductor and driver of the above-mentioned bus, and punish them, and prevent them from doing this' sort of thing in future, [Shanghai, Nov. 1,
