The best. showing was ob-Rained on Tuesday when a steady lout the day, resulting. in some gains. frmmess wan maintained, Through:

For the rest' of the "week the ket declined consumptively, los-failed beyond registering a few made an effort to recover but small gains. Nevertheless, business improved on these.latter two days, the daily turnover amounting about ten millions.

Predictions under present. conditions. would be extremely dangerous in view of the unusual circumstance fof too. many over-bought. and over sold positions being. outstanding simultaneously. The moment either side attempt to cover their positions, the market is expected to register strong. reactions, upward or down ward" as the case' may be. Such movements may be due this week. }On tke whole, the market appears more inclined' to drop than other-wire, It would take quiet extn Jordinary developments before the former level would again be reached [within the near future.

Heaviest losers in the week, were Salt" Revenue and Consolidated which dropped 1.80 (nov.) and 1.55 (Dee.), and 140 (Nov.) and 1.50 (Dee.)' respectively." Disbandment also suffered by 1.10 and 145 for these respective months.
