'The proposed route around "the world in the junk, which i a 49 eet Ningpo type fitied with a motor, will be by way of Hongkong, Manila, 'Singapore, Java, Australia, New Zea-id, then across to San' Francisco, arriving at the latter port during the World's Fair. From San Francisco the party will proceed by way of the Panama Canal to the British West Indies, Canary Islands, Great Britain and Europe returning' to the Orient via the Suez Canal, Indian Ocean, Bay of Bengal, and Siraits of Malacca to Singapore.
'As the whole of the crew, with the exception of the skipper, are White Russians, the junk will sail under the Imperial' Russian ensign, which will be exhibited with the vessel at the Chicago World's Fair. No date has been fixed for sailing but it is hoped to commence the epic voyage, which it ig estimated will last one year, shortly.
