Berlin, Apr. 14.
Recourse to the' method of blood test for determining the parentage and hence the nationality of a child where this is in dispute, has been made compulsory in Germany by new law relating to the alternation, and completión of family deeds promulgated by the German Government yesterday.
The same law stipulates that although the German law prohibits the marriage of brother-in-law and sister-in-law and although in principle this will continue to be upheld in the interest of the ethics of family life, dispensations may be obtained under certain circumstances.
As regards the status of so-called "stateless persons" the new law prescribes that in determining the status of stateless persons, the deciding factor will without exception be the laws of the country in which the stateless person is domiciled.—Trans-Ocean, Trial of Ex-Chancellor Of Austria Unlikely
