Panama Pledges Support

Panama, Nov. 17.

Dr. Juan Arosemena, President of Panama, today pledged the support of Panama towards the common defence policy for the American continent propounded by President Roosevelt.

"The attitude of the people of Panama," he said, "is completely in favour of the proposal to organize a common defence for the American continent against aggression or threat of aggression from other continents."

The President added that Panama's delegates to the Pan-American Conference at Lima would receive instructions to support any movement io put the plan into effect.—Reuter.
