Nanking, Nov. 25.
Success of extensive anti-guerilla operations launched early this month on the southern bank of the Yang-zo, from an area south of Wuhu to east of Nanking, was claimed by Japanese military authorities here today.
Principal among the Chinese units said to have been driven out was the Sixty-Third Division formerly operating in the Wanchichen area, south-east of Wuhu.
South-western Kiangsu province was also stated to have been cleared lof irregulars. who formerly were based on Hinton, Kuyung, Tanyang
