This organization is directly. ad™liatwith Messrs. "Electric. and Musical Industries Lid, of Hayes, England, 'The largest and most up-to-date factory in China for the production of records, where no less than Quarter of' a million can be madi monthly, is now in operation, Thi process ' employed is the famous Columbia patent which has earned well deserved praise for the smoothness in its reproduction.
Pathe was the first to introduce the gramophone in China and they have steadily made great inroads into. the Chinese trade. Special Chinese recordings have been made and the company is now selling many hundreds of thousands of records annually.
